ask-francis-i:

That is fabulous to hear, mon coeur. I know they already love you very much, and it is most pleasing to know you care for them, as well. What sorts of things do you do when you visit with them?

We play games. Sometimes they work on their studies and I embroider. The time we spend together is merely meant to allow some peace and privacy for them.

ask-francis-i:

They are almost finished. I think - or at least, I hope - you shall be most delighted by them. How are you adjusting to French life?

It is an adjustment. However, I find more pleasure with your children. They are dear things.

ask-francis-i:

Either way, I am certain it shall be perfect. *grins* But your instincts are usually accurate.

You are kind to say so, mon coeur. How go the plans?

ask-francis-i:

Soon enough, you and I shall be even more blessed. *makes sure no one’s around and then rubs her stomach* I am sorry you are unwell, but I believe the illness shall be worth it. *kisses her forehead*

*Smiles* I am quite certain that it shall be a boy.

ask-francis-i:

There are always matters that require my attention, but you deserve it, too. You are my wife, and soon you shall be my Queen, as well. You say you have not felt completely well. Tell me what ails you, even if I cannot make it better.

Merely the usual ailments that accompany my condition. Dizziness, nausea, headaches. Do not concern yourself, mon couer. It shall pass

ask-francis-i:

Mon coeur, I wish that all of my time could be given to you, for seeing your face is undoubtedly the most enjoyable part of each day. I will make sure to walk at a most steady pace, and we may sit whenever you feel the need.

There are matters that require your attention. You are King. I am grateful for whatever time you may spend with me

ask-francis-i:

As am I. *nods* My deepest apologies, Elizabeth, for not having spent more time with you so far. There has been much to prepare but almost everything is sorted now. Are you well enough to join me for a walk?

If it is a short walk, then I am. However, I still feel a bit unwell. I understand you have been occupied as of late. I am grateful for the time that you give to me, however.

bessieblount:

She is stronger each day. I’ve named her Sabine.

My congratulations to you. I am pleased that everything went well and the child is healthy

I am sure you have already heard somehow, but I have been too interested in these plans to be notified, it seems. Lady Blount has had her child. It is a girl.

I did. I am pleased that the birthing went well

ask-francis-i asked: Mon coeur, I know we are both busied by preparations for your coronation, but there is some news I wish to relay to you. Might you meet me in my study later this afternoon?

As you will, mon amour.
